Au Pair in Switzerland

Program requirements:

  • Age from 18 to 25 years
  • Speak German, English, or French at a high level (B2 at the very least).*
  • Love for children, sociability, honesty, punctuality, and responsibility
  • A driver’s license and driving experience are welcome but not prerequisites for participating in the program.

Program terms & conditions:

  • The duration of the program is 12 months.
  • The candidate is expected to help with childcare and light housework 30 hours per week.
  • Live-in stay (the host family provides a separate room), board, and lodging.
  • At least 1 day off per week.
  • 4 weeks of paid vacation per year

  • Family-sponsored German or French language courses and a unique opportunity to learn a foreign language by immersing yourself in the language environment.
  • Pocket money is 700 francs per month.
