Au Pair in China

A land of contrasts. On the one hand, a country with a great and ancient culture and traditions. Au-Pairs in China are mainly invited by modern, progressive, educated families with a good income living in big cities and metropolitan areas.

Program requirements:

• Age from 18 to 30 years.
• Speak English at a high level (B2 at the very least) clean from any accent.* Sometimes families invite those who know German or French.
• Love for children, sociability, honesty, punctuality, and responsibility
• A driver's license and driving experience is welcome but not a prerequisite for participating in the Chinese program.
• Must ride a bike.

Program terms & conditions:

• The duration of the program is 12 months.
• The candidate is expected to help with childcare and light housework 30 hours per week.
• Live-in stay (the host family provides a separate room), board, and lodging.
• At least 1 day off per week.
• 2 weeks of paid vacation per year.

• Family-sponsored Chinese language courses and a unique opportunity to learn a foreign language and culture of the country by immersing yourself in the language and cultural environment.
• Pocket money is CHF 1500 per month.
