Au Pair in the Netherlands
Holland is a small but very developed country on the North Sea coast (don't be alarmed, the sea doesn't look as scary as it is named). A country with great traditions and culture, of tulips, and open and sincere people.
Program requirements:
- Age from 18 to 30 years.
- Speak the English language at a high level (min B1).
- Love for children, sociability, honesty, punctuality, and responsibility
- A driver's license and driving experience are welcome but not a prerequisite for participating in the program in the Netherlands.
Program terms & conditions:
- The duration of the program is 12 months.
- The candidate is expected to help with childcare and light housework 30 hours per week.
- Live-in stay (the host family provides a separate room), board, and lodging.
- At least 1 day off per week.
- 2 weeks of paid vacation per year.
- Compulsory insurance (paid by the host family).
- Flemish language courses are mandatory; also, a candidate receives a unique opportunity to learn a foreign language by immersing themselves in the language environment.
- Pocket money is 300-340 euros per month.
